My friend Chad Murphy-Price needs our help.
Here is his story.
So far, the money raised: $5,2000Here is a little bit about Chad that you may or may not know. He is 25 years old and has had his current wheelchair since he was fourteen. As you can imagine, there are many, many miles on that wheelchair and it's time for a new one. His current wheelchair is falling into disrepair and many parts of it are being held together with duct tape. The manufacturer no longer makes the needed parts to fix it. Unfortunately, Chad's application to the State of Wisconsin for a new wheelchair has been denied. So, Chad with the help of many friends is attempting to raise the $42,000 needed for a new motorized wheelchair. This new wheelchair will give Chad, who lives in an assisted living facility in Waukesha, greater independence to pursue his career as a website designer and to continue in his role as a nationally-known speaker who advocates for children with disabilities as they transition to adulthood and greater independence.

Chad wants to get a new wheelchair to replace the current one he has now- one that he's had since he was 14-years-old.
A bit of background on how I know Chad:
Chad and I met four years ago at a leadership conference in Washington, D.C. I learned that Chad had cerebral palsy; however, I didn't know at the time about his aging wheelchair. Chad didn't really ask for much help. I've known him to be very independent and do things for himself. I didn't realize that Chad needed help getting a brand-new wheelchair until Festivus (which was started by nother friend of ours, based off of an episode of Seinfeld). During the three-day Festivus event and prior to it is when I got news from Chad of his situation.
Here's a ChadTV video (created by Cha) which will help you get to know my best friend.
Have a Blessed day!!!!
Sincerely,
Nico
